Accurate Laser Cutting for Carson
Carson is a South Bay hub where industrial operations and community events run side by side, and American Laser Cutter serves the area with high-accuracy laser cutting from our Downtown Los Angeles shop on Los Angeles Street. The drive from Carson typically takes 20–30 minutes. Positioned near the Port of Long Beach, Carson is a logistics powerhouse with a thriving local sports culture.
Near the Goodyear Blimp base, Carson has a diverse mix of logistics and warehousing operations. Our shop supports that range with capabilities spanning intricate engraving to heavy-duty through-cuts on four high-power CO₂ laser machines, with cutting beds up to 4'×5'.

Acrylic in every finish — transparent, opaque, fluorescent, mirrored — cut with edges so smooth they look polished by hand.
Plywood, solid hardwoods, and MDF — each type produces its own characteristic edge and engraving tone.
Paper and board stock cut without crushing, creasing, or tearing — even designs with hairline-thin bridges.
Leather goods with heat-sealed edges that won't fray, plus deep-contrast engraving that ages beautifully.
Fabric and textile cutting with sealed synthetic edges — ideal for appliqué, cosplay, and industrial applications.
EVA foam, craft foam, and rigid foam board — clean edges with no crushing or deformation.
Supply your own sheets or select from our inventory. Note: we do not cut PVC, vinyl, or chlorinated plastics for safety reasons.

Design File Guidelines
For cutting, send vector files in AI, SVG, DXF, or PDF format. Lines should be clean with no duplicates or self-intersections. Engraving projects can use high-resolution raster images (300 DPI minimum recommended for photographic engravings).
