Precision Laser Cutting for Long Beach
From the Long Beach Convention Center to the East Village Arts District area, Long Beach professionals rely on American Laser Cutter for clean laser work. Our DTLA shop is about 25–35 minutes away, and we handle projects of every scale. As home to one of the busiest ports in the Western Hemisphere, Long Beach combines industrial scale with a vibrant creative community.
We work with everyone from solo artists to port and shipping companies in Long Beach. Single prototypes, small batches, and full production runs all move through our shop — no minimum order, no setup fees for standard work.
Supported Materials
Cast and extruded acrylic, ¹⁄₁₆" through ¾", in any color or finish. The CO₂ laser gives cast acrylic that signature flame-polished look.
Plywood, solid hardwoods, and MDF — each type produces its own characteristic edge and engraving tone.
Intricate paper and cardboard designs with cuts as fine as 0.1mm, impossible to achieve with blades alone.
We cut and engrave genuine leather for wallets, patches, belts, holsters, and custom accessories.
Fabric and textile cutting with sealed synthetic edges — ideal for appliqué, cosplay, and industrial applications.
EVA foam, craft foam, and rigid foam board — clean edges with no crushing or deformation.
We stock popular materials and also accept customer-supplied sheets. PVC and vinyl are not laser-safe and are excluded from our services.

Design File Guidelines
For cutting, send vector files in AI, SVG, DXF, or PDF format. Lines should be clean with no duplicates or self-intersections. Engraving projects can use high-resolution raster images (300 DPI minimum recommended for photographic engravings).
Not sure your file is ready? Email it to us and we'll review it at no charge. We can also help convert sketches or concepts into production-ready vectors.
